how to make yourself cool

I'm always putting studs or crossed over paper clips on the ends of my shirt collars but have always wanted to go that extra bit further. Now I've actually had the time to do it!! I literally spent so long doing this that I listened to five Cd's and it wasn't until my mum came in that we noticed my crappy pink CD playa was a'smoking like the firey pitts of hell (no). So yeah, turned that bitch off straight away.

But anyway, here is what I created in about three and a half hours... I'm sure that normal people could do this in less than an hour. But like with all textillian things I rush into them and then have to make loads of mistakes in order to figure out what I'm doing. But I like it better that way. I don't measure anything because that would turn it into maths and I hate counting. So I just draw and cut and sew then re-sew until it looks decent.

B4 all boring n' shit

With the denim bits on lookin half-fly

This jumper is from Generation at New Look, that's how old it is (about 3 years). I bought it at the time because I thought it was very Alexander Wang-y. *cough* I got the idea do to the denim and studs from my own brain but it was inspired by the Ragged Priest collection. Whenever I'm in Topshop and Oxford Circus I love looking at their stuff but the magic has been taken away from me as a girl in my sixth form told me that SHE studs the clothes and gets paid for it and as much as I was like "woah dat kl" I was also like "wait, what happened to the mystical elves that stud n' tye-dye this stuff in the secret caves of Neverland..." then I also thought, I CAN DO IT TOO WITH KANDOO and not have to pay £40 for it. So there. Look what I did mommy...

Oh well, suppose it adds to the "vibe"
 Amazing photog skillz'

The complete masterpiece - so fly

The making of this caused me much pain and also the death of my CD player although I'm pleased with the final ting and have looooooadddddssss of ideas for a few of my shirts which I shall obvs post when I have done them!!

The studs I used were ones from a haberdashery down Berwick street in London that has 30 in a pack for £3.60. I bought the flatter studs instead of the nicer rounder ones because they were about £2 EACH and I was like "f dat bro". The denim I used I got from the cut-offs from when I cut some jeans that I didn't want anymore into some supa-kl shorts.

And in case you suddenly forgot what the hell you were reading/looking at, here it is again... IN USE?!!?!?!?!? I must point out now that I find it slightly worrying how I seem to naturally be standing slanted. THANKS FOR GAZING AT THIS VISUAL FEAST.

XOXO GOSSIP GIRL. (joke)
